    The DogWatch® Cat Fence is the same as the DogWatch® Hidden Fence! This versatile system is suitable for both feline and canine family members. It operates using an electronic FM radio signal to manage your pet's access to or exclusion from specific areas. 

  • How does the cat fence work?

    In our outdoor fencing systems, we utilize a discreetly buried wire that transmits a safe, low-level FM radio signal along the designated perimeter. This signal connects to a receiver collar worn by your cat, which gently reminds them (via a mild stimulation, also known as a correction) not to cross the established boundary. Training with visual flags and sound cues teaches your pet to understand these limits. Once trained, it's rare for pets to challenge these boundaries, allowing them to play freely and safely within the set area.


    Our Indoor Cat Boundary signal is emitted directly from a portable transmitter, establishing a no-go zone up to 10 feet in diameter. Alternatively, it can be configured with a wire to encircle specific indoor areas like couches. The training process utilizes visual signals (like flags) and sounds from the collar to teach cats the limits of their safe area. For those with outdoor access, initial training is conducted indoors to familiarize them with the system before moving to outdoor spaces.
